You can lock your computer using your USB Stick. If someone tries to start your computer without your USB stick, it will display boot errors.
Understanding what you are going to do
* When windows boots it checks for the primary boot device in bios which is by default is your hard drive.
* Then it looks for a system file called as Boot.ini which tells windows where to start booting from. Without this file windows will throw you an error ” Invalid Boot.ini ” or “Windows could not start “
Before begin, you playing with the BIOS and boot files of your computer may result in you not being able to boot into your Windows partition; so continue at your own risk! Things you need: A 64MB or larger sized USB Stick, Windows Recovery Disk (just in case).
