Create web pages free of hidden texts and links seen only by the search engines. Instead, use search engine marketing strategies without redirects to other sites. Instead of garbage content, search engine optimization promotes useful reader content.
- First and foremost, search engines will “like” your website if it has good content. If your webpage looks like spam, modern search engines are smart enough to treat it like spam.
- Make your site indexed immediately by writing articles and press release. A great way to build natural and permanent links to your websites is through submitting articles to other web sites each of which contains one or more live links pointing to your business’ site.
- Do not generate replicated content (within your site or replicated upon multiple sites). All good search engines are smart enough to recognize this.
- Get quality websites link to you and same content with one-way backlinks. Search engines will see this, and take notice. Do not use link exchanges, sign guestbooks with links, etc. While it doesn’t penalize you (since you can’t control what other websites have), it does not help you at all.
- Do directory submission
There are thousands of directories on the Internet ranging from the well-respected DMOZ (dmoz.org), topic-specific directories, to paid-inclusion directories, to absolutely worthless directories which you would be better off not having a link in.

When looking for link exchange partners you want to look at multiple factors to ensure you are receiving a quality link exchange that allows a vote to be passed back to your web page. 1. Passing a Vote
This factor is more virtual than materialistic since this would at most times be based on your personal opinion. The quality of the vote passed on to your web page consists of multiple pointers that you have to ask yourself:
- Is it informative to your websites topic? Does it provide a quantity of quality content? Stick to websites that provide unique content that provides additional insight and is relevant to your websites topic.
- How long has the website being in existence? Has this website being in existence long enough to build itself up to be considered an authority site?
- How many outgoing links does the link page have?
Web pages that have less than 50 outgoing links are still considered effective enough to exchange with. See it this way: A Search Engine will provide (example) 100 points to each page outgoing links. If you have one outgoing link it will get the full vote value. If you have 50 outgoing links to other websites, than you vote count is only 2 points. Web pages with limited amount of outgoing links are favorable.
The placement of the link: Will the link partner allow a submission of your link within a paragraph of keyword related / informative text? This way your outgoing link does not follow the webs usual linking exchange pattern, which overtime could become devalued with Search Engines? The surrounding text reinforces your links keywords and might provide additional boost in the keywords relevance.
2. Passing Traffic

3. Passing PageRank
PageRank (PR) is Google rating system of the quality of the website. The bar runs between 1 to 10 and the closer to 10 you can get the more valuable the exchange. In the past, Page Rank has been the main focus point in many webmasters and Search Engine marketers. Page Rank has overtime become less important in Google’s overall ranking algorithm, and now it determines the interval of the Search Engines spider / bots return to the website, for faster indexing of new content.
Think about meta tags, keywords, descriptions, and titles. These are all important elements, even if they are not what will make or break your site. Whilst important they are just one part of your strategy.
- You must optimize your website with good keyword
The most important thing to bear in mind when attempting to come up with unique key words is that there are huge groups of people out there who are interested in your niche who have not been targeted by other site use them on your pages.
When you start to optimise your website keywords you will find yourself trying to come up with ever more interesting or unique key words, and you will be trying to implement them more smoothly into your web page
- For the keywords you are targeting, use them within the
tags. Search engines look at this a lot, so this is pretty key.</p>
<p>- Use anchor text on links that point to your page with keywords you are targeting (both internal and external sites).</p>
<p>- Along the same lines as the last tip, if you have images that click to pages, use the ALT parameter within the <IMG> tag, and include whatever keywords you are targeting.</p>
<p>- Generally, use common sense and stay away from trying to trick search engines (cloaking tricks for example). It can get your site penalized or even banned from the search engines.</p>
